Trench Sheets
The Murrayplant range of sheeting has been designed to cover a range of uses in both permanent and temporary works.
- The overlapping range can be used for a wide range of applications from the digging and placing of short sheets in shallow excavations, to full driving to depth in deep excavations.
- The interlocking range can be used for applications ranging from shallow river bank protection to deep, large area cofferdams.
- All the sections are well matched for use with our hydraulic support systems.
- Most sections are available for hire and sale.
- The M7/M11 light duty waling is used in conjunction with the M7 or M11 interlocking trench sheet, typically for river/canal bank protection.
- lso available are tie bars (standard length 1.8m) and anchor piles.

+ The allowable bending moments in this column are calculated values based on working stresses not exceeding the material yield stress divided by 1.5.
++ The bending moment capacities in this column are based on bending tests to failure on four of each sheet. The characteristic bending resistances resulting from the tests have been divided by 1.5 to give the working capacities quoted.
* If ordered in HR15 grade, the allowable bending moment depends on the actual yield strength of the material and may be no less than quoted in the table.
